Payment plans and financial assistance are available to those that qualify. Please contact the office for further details. ALR EHS accepts Workone Vouchers and Company employee scholarships. You may register online using PayPal however, a convenience fee will be added to the total cost of the course. Or you may bring a money order or cashier’s check before the start of class. Make your money order or cashier's check payable to ALR Educational Health Services Inc. A refund may be issued, only if courses are canceled by ALR EHS. If a student registers for a class and fails to attend, no refund will be issued. ALR EHS does not accept cash or personal checks. All fees are nonrefundable per course policy.

Admission Requirements:

  • GED/High School Diploma (Optional but preferred)
  • Valid State ID (must not be expired)
  • Physical within one year
  • Tuberculin Test (TB) within six months
  • Must pass a Background check per State law

Admission Requirements:

  • This course is for employers or companies seeking to assist their employees in becoming a Home Health Aide. After successful course completion, the HHA will be placed on ISDH's registry. This course requires a contractual agreement to be signed per the employer and the Director of Education prior to the start of the course. This course is no longer offered to the public.

Admission Requirements:

  • This course is for individuals seeking to obtain their National Phlebotomy Certification. After successful course completion, the student will be eligible to sit for their National Certification.
  • GED/High School Diploma (Optional but preferred)
  • Valid State ID (must not be expired)
  • Physical within one year
  • Tuberculin Test (TB) within six months
  • Must pass a Background check per State law
  • Must pass a Drug screen per State law
  • Must pass a basic Math/English and basic Phlebotomy competency test with a minimum of 80%



Admission Requirements:

  • 18 yrs. of age
  • Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Qualified Medication Aid (QMA) in good standing on the State registry
  • Personal interview with the Dean of Nursing
  • Current Drivers License or State ID
  • Dug Screening
  • Background Check
  • TB Test
  • Health Clearance (Physical)
  • Immunization records
  • High School Diploma/GED/ or Transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendations (1 professional/1 personal)
  • Employed at a healthcare facility for at least 6 months and employment history must be in good standing. One letter must be from a current employer (Administrator/DON only)
  • 50 Dollar Application Fee.
